The Twitter Rulebook (it’s ok, it’s quite short)

  1. If you don’t like what someone is tweeting, don’t post random tweets slagging them off.  If you ain’t got the balls to confront them then say nothing.
  2. Likewise, don’t complain about the types of things people are tweeting (Foursquare check-ins for example).  Some of the stuff you tweet might irritate the hell out of someone. Hell, chances are we all tweet something at least once a day that irritates at least one of our followers.  You see that button there? It’s called ‘Unfollow’.
  3. Don’t act as the God of Twitter offering tips on how to use it to anyone you deem worthy of your sage advice.
  4. Don’t be mean to other Tweeters. Note: this does not apply if they hold different political views from you.  In that case it is fair game.
  5. Chill out.
  6. Don’t make lists telling people how to use Twitter.
  7. Chill out.

(I realise that points 5 & 7 are negated by the remaining points but chill…I’m just messing yeah?)
