The Twitter Rulebook (it’s ok, it’s quite short)

- If you don’t like what someone is tweeting, don’t post random tweets slagging them off. If you ain’t got the balls to confront them then say nothing.
- Likewise, don’t complain about the types of things people are tweeting (Foursquare check-ins for example). Some of the stuff you tweet might irritate the hell out of someone. Hell, chances are we all tweet something at least once a day that irritates at least one of our followers. You see that button there? It’s called ‘Unfollow’.
- Don’t act as the God of Twitter offering tips on how to use it to anyone you deem worthy of your sage advice.
- Don’t be mean to other Tweeters. Note: this does not apply if they hold different political views from you. In that case it is fair game.
- Chill out.
- Don’t make lists telling people how to use Twitter.
- Chill out.
(I realise that points 5 & 7 are negated by the remaining points but chill…I’m just messing yeah?)
